Can anyone suggest a good book on the topic? I’m interested to learn and compare between EO and RC.

Do you mean compare between or with? Oriental Orthodox would be the Copts and Ethiopians. For Eastern Orthodox I have a book called “Orthodox Dogmatic Theology” by Seraphim Rose - but I figure you mean the Ethiopians and such.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find such material written in English by people who are actually members of OO churches. Most of the books you’ll find on such things are written by Western academics, and can be and often are quite wrong about the topics they cover. The translations of Arabic works are generally quite poor, too (see, unfortunately, HH Pope Shenouda III’s many books and pamphlets; I still haven’t found one that is actually translated well).

Yes, being Eastern Orthodox, I already have a lot of those books at hand.

So do you just learn by catechesis at your church? Or do you actually read Arabic?
