Romans 12:2 “do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…”

Origen

Our mind is renewed by the practice of wisdom and reflection on the Word of God and the spiritual understanding of his law. The more one reads the Scriptures daily and the greater one’s understanding is, the more one is renewed always and every day. I doubt whether a mind which is lazy toward the holy Scriptures and the exerecise of spiritual knowledge can be renewed at all.

You can find everything Origen wrote for free on the Internet, in English, if you do some searching.

I have desinged this site to contain many great Catholic Commentaries, and there are lots of commentaries of the Fathers on it! One of the benefits of my design is that I have modified many of the homilies and commentaries in a way that makes looking up specific passages much easier than they have been arranged in the past, I put all the homilies in the order of the Bible’s chapter and verse instead of the order of homilies. Example, St. John Chrysostom’s homilies have always been arranged in homily 1, homily 2, homily 3 etc etc, I arranged them in chapter and verse of the Bible to make it much easier to find his comments on specific passages.
