If a life-span is the consequence of Adam’s sin, why too do most living creatures have a life-span? What did they do to deserve a life-span? or is this just like “do dogs go to heaven” type questions?

This seems like an easy question. I kind of had it in my head but couldn’t really pull it out. I thought about this while listening to “Infant Baptism and Original Sin” from the Bible Christian Society. Thanks.

When man fell, all of creation fell.

When Christ redeemed humanity, he also redeemed creation itself.

This creation will come into its fullness when the second heaven and second earth come to fruition.

(It’s going to be awesome. Don’t miss it.)👍

It’s DEFINATELY a “do dogs go to heaven” type question. 🙂

The nature of Adam (and Eve) may very well be utterly different from that of the animals. Is it a certainty that animals weren’t created WITH physical death, which was not possible for Adam, as part of their nature?

When Adam fell, perhaps he fell into that same “animal” nature which until then only applied to the animals?

Is it possible (certainly NOT the case) that when the new creation occurs, the nature of animals will once again ONLY APPLY to the animals?

Hmmm,… that’s an interesting “trigger”…! Care to explain that a bit further? 🙂

Best to you…!

Ditto. When God created Adam, He instructed him to tend and keep the Garden. Natural creation was subordinate to Adam (made in the image of the Creator), and by his failure, fell with him.
