hey! i have a “non-domoninational” friend at school and wants to know why we baptize infants. so when we explained that it was to get rid of our original sin. she immedialtey said “well we are made in the image of God and since he was born with out sin how is it that we are born with it?” any help and BIBLE verses would be most appreciated.:blessyou: sirach 22:25-26

then she should have no trouble accepting Mary’s Immaculate Conception and grace of being born free from sin, which she was by the privilege of enjoying the grace won for all humanity by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross free from the limits of earthly time constraints. She is the first fruits of the resurrection.
Ask your friend, if we are born free from sin, from what is Jesus’s sacrifice saving us?
