God created man in order that man worship God and God in return share his glory to man.

God created man and man is composed of body and soul. Therefore… when man worship God, man worship God body and soul.

God is justice or just… justice mean to give one its due…Since it is both body and soul that gives adoration to God, it is but just that both body and soul deserves the Glory of God.

Therefore the original plan of God at the time of creation was that man was immortal since both body and soul that worship god deserves Gods glory…Since man was sinless at that time man does not deserve death body and soul.In this sense man was indeed the image and likeness of God.

However. Paul wrote the wages of sin is death.

God gave man a command " do not eat’ Man by his free and clear mind choose to disobey God therefore he sinned. Because od din his sin… he is now subject to death body and soul. bodily death he decays to the ground, spiritual death he is barred from entering heaven until the savior arrives.

Death therefore is the badge of original sin. Death was not intended by God . Death was the choice of man.

Since from adam until now we are suject to death hence we have inherited the original sin of adam.Paul wrote. thru one man death enters the world.

How does all are implicated by the personal sin of adam?

all humanity was potentially in the body of adam, adam was the humankind at that time… hence when adam sinned all sinned since we are present in adam potentially. Adam was not deserving of Grace.

If adam was not deserving of grace then the sons of adam are not also deserving simply because they are merely the extension of adam…they cannot be above their parents

So basically you are saying that the reason we ALL have to get tested is because essentially daddy made a mistake?

Thats why Im not in heaven because God didnt like that Adam (who had free will) made a mistake, getting tempted to eat the forbidden fruit?

memnoch_lover - no one is deserving of grace, that is why it is called grace because it is something given to us by God which we cannot deserve or earn.

Some would say that God as all-knowing would know that Adam would fall into sin and so sin was planned in so far as God knew what Adam would do.

Each of us is responsible for our own actions, however, man is prone to sin, particularly the sin of pride. Mankind has a tendency to put himself first instead of God, our will instead of God’s will. Think of it this way, if a man is an alchololic then his son is more likely to be an alchololic than the son of a man who is a teatotaler.

Satan’s sin drew many angels with him, why do we not suppose that man’s sin would echo throughout the generations?

I’m afraid this is an unclear interpretation. Adam’s personal sin is not a sin of all humankind.

I’m gonna repost what the Catechism of the Catholic Church says on this subject. This is the correct interpretation of original sin:

**ORIGINAL SIN:**The sin by which the first human beings disobeyed the commandment of God, choosing to follow their own will rather than God’s will. As a consequence they lost the grace of original holiness, and became subject to the law of death; sin became universally present in the world. Besides the personal sin of Adam and Eve, original sin describes the fallen state of human nature which affects every person born into the world, and from which Christ, the “new Adam,” came to redeem us (396-412).

PERSONAL SIN: that is the things we ourselves do that are not pleasing to God or against his laws and decrees.

…the transmission of original sin is a mystery that we cannot fully understand. But we do know by Revelation that Adam had received original holiness and justice not for himself alone, but for all human nature. By yielding to the tempter, Adam and Eve committed a personal sin, but this sin affected the human nature that they would then transmit in a fallen state. It is a sin which will be transmitted by propagation to all mankind, that is, by the transmission of a human nature deprived of original holiness and justice. And that is why original sin is called “sin” only in an analogical sense: it is a sin “contracted” and not “committed”—a state and not an act (Catechism #404).

When God created adam God has a perfect reason in creating Him…God said to his creation " it was Good"

Because Adam was perfect to God , Adan deserves the friendship of God and that is is Grace itself.

when adam sinned the freindship between God and man was destroyed hence Gods friendship was taken away from adam hence adam was deprive of Grace,

Since Adam as a man is without grace, we are also deprived of this grace since we are present in the body of adam. All humanity in its totallity is adam.

The sons of adam are mere extension of adam body,

therefore,grace taken from adam is grace taken away from us

where is free will in the perspective of original sin?

whoever commits sin, the doer deserves to be punshed and not others, however the consequences of ones personal sin affect another.

example:

a son commits a personal offence aginst his father. because of that the father disinherit his son. later on the son married and have children. Here the children suffers the deprivation od inhiritance that should have been thiers as a consequence of the personal offence by thier father.

in similar fashion. God created man. and God granted man his friendship(grace).when adam commit personal sin adam was disinhirited of this friendship(grace).adam children as a consequence failed to inherit the friendship of God from adam because adam lost it .

Emad: Look at it this way. If a man is a millionaire, has many houses, and is loved by all, but then wastes his money, burns his houses, makes many enemies, and then has children, what do the children inherit?

Don’t they inherit bankruptcy, ashes, and enemies of the family? They are most certainly are NOT guilty of the sins of their father, but they DO have a crummy inheritance. Likewise, Adam and Eve had children AFTER their sin, so the children inherited the terrible fruits of this sin. We are these children, and we inherit the world that has been broken by Adam and Eve. This is not a punishment from God, but the reality of inheritance. On the contrary, we Christians insist that God has opened the door to Paradise for all humanity through the Christ. God is so merciful and just that He has ensured that we have a way of “cheating” our broken inheritance. At the same time, however, we must strive to not cause our own broken legacy, we must work to maintain a loving and fruitful relationship with God.

We are not held accountable for the sins of Adam and Eve, though we inherit the broken world and human nature none-the-less, but we ARE held accountable for our own sins. The former is what we call Original Sin, the latter is what we call Personal Sin.
