Thanks for reply. Saw a history show and they discussed in depth some of this, during the middle ages. Seemed to imply a very strong repercussion for an infant not being baptized.

Yes I think this is a testimony to how seriously the disciples took the teaching of the Apostles that we are all “dead in sin”, both the Jew and the Greek. “All died in Adam” and we must have the reconciliation with God available in Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved.

It also makes sense why Christian parents would be so eager to bring their infants into the New Covenant, just as infants were brought into the Old Covenant.
