Hi,
In Ezekiel 18, God says that “the soul that sins shall die…” He also goes on to say that he will not punish the som for the sins of the father and vise versa.
Islamic apologetics use this to say that the Dogma of Original Sin is not valid since God can not punish the decendents of Amam for his sins.
Also, elsewhere in the scriptures God says that he will visit the sins of the fathers on the sons for generations to come.
How do we reconcile this contradiction?
