Why can’t we use the books in the Orthodox bible? The CC is good and has kept the sacred scriptures uncorrupted but why can’t we use other books that the Orthodox use?
We can. You can use them for private studies, they are not used liturgically in the Roman Catholic Church (though I am unsure about the Eastern Rite Catholic Churches).
Many of the popular ecumenical Study Bibles include these books. I have a copy of The Orthodox Study Bible which I use from time to time for study.
