Hi Ya’ll,

I’m having a bit of a difficulty understanding what happened to the Old Believers who rejected the Nikonian Reforms. It sounds like they differ in how they preserve Russian Orthodoxy and formed several factions. Could somebody help me understand what differs the different factions from each other.

Also, how many communities of Old Believers have come into Communion with the Moscow Patriarch and other Eastern Orthodox Churches and have any come into Communion with the Catholic Church?

Thanks!

The Old Believers follow their way and style. Not accepting the reforms of new Ecclesiastics imposed by a different generation. At least in theory, is what I think.
