Has anybody heard and/or read the Orthodox Study Bible? I just bought a copy and I love it but I wanted to know if it is okay to read it?
I’ve looked over it at Barnes and Noble and it seems like a nice bible. Remember that it is not a Catholic study bible so the notes are not Catholic. This will be a concern when discussing things like the primacy of St. Peter and Filioque (from the Son), but its much better than a Protestant study bible since Catholic and Orthodox are not THAT different.Has anybody heard and/or read the Orthodox Study Bible? I have used it. It is a great and very orthodox (no pun intended) study bible which is very Catholic. Of course they do present the filioque and papal primacy issues from an Orthodox Church perspective, but other than that, it is completely in line with Catholic teaching.Has anybody heard and/or read the Orthodox Study Bible?
