I went to an Orthodox Vespers today since there wasn’t one at the Catholic Church near me. I’ve never been there before and after I decided to go today and went it all seemed fine but then at the end they had the confession and it made me uncomfortable since I’m not Orthodox. Was it sinful to participate in their Vespers? I mean the whole thing, but especially the confession thing at the end, but I didn’t really expect that since I didn’t go to Vespers before.

No, and good for you. If by “confession” you mean some kind of penitential rite at the end, then it’s no more illicit than the penitential rite at a Catholic Mass. It disposes one to contrition, but has no sacramental power.

No,.

Just an unqualified, no.

(As this was a yes or no question, with a direct answer that has been supplied, there’s really no reason for it to remain open).
