well my friends for all who bring up the works and good deeds and following the commandments. some of you may think that i stand on the contrary to God’s law but you are mistaken. YES! we are to keep His commandments but not as a means to gain salvation but because we love the LORD. God saved us from the bondage of the law and now we live in faith and thru the help of the Holy Spirit we thrive to live a sinless life. that is why we are to sacrifice our lives daily submitting to the Spirit to guide through this journey in life.

i do this cause i have repented and turned to God, i see sins as God sees them and i pray that He keep me close to Him always that i not stumble and dishonor Him. we are told that His commandments are not burdensome and if we love God we will keep them.

i don’t know about you all but God loved me first, i was an enemy of God, living a life of sin before i came to know Him. now i just live my life as a slave to Him where before like scripture says that we were once slaves to sin but now i am free!

not free to sin cause if one who claims to be a Christian but continues to live in sin is living a lie, it’s that simple. that person has a concept of God, a knowledge of God and Christ but like some of you have pointed out, so does the devil. but one needs to believe in his heart that Jesus died and rose again, also to confess that Jesus is Lord.

now scripture tells us to work out our salvation, it does not say to work for our salvation. as a Christian it is a battle everyday cause we are still in the flesh that is why paul writes of the struggle of sin.

those of you who turn to the book of James, AMEN! show me your faith, it is to say you believe but if there is no fruit (works) then your faith is dead. but i will emphasize that works does not save cause it clear that it is by our faith that we are saved that no man will boast.

my catholic friends one can be sure so turning to what paul writes in corinthians , examine yourself to see if you are in the faith.

God bless.
