In the book of Acts 7:54-60 we see St. Stephen was full of the Holy Spirit. He saw the Glory of God he saw Jesus standing at the right hand of God. Compare that with Acts 9:3-9 we see St. Paul when he was given the vision of the Lord he could not see anything in fact he went blind.

Could this be another way to point out to our Non-Catholic friends that Justification is a process and eternal security is not guranteed until the end? It seems St. Stephen perservered until the end and that is why he could look upon the Glory of God and St Paul was just begining his journey and could not look at the Glory of God. Is this correct any thoughts? It also appears if you are full of grace you are perfected in Christ from this verse. In some sense this might help with Luke’s definition of Mary.

Perhaps I’m among the minority who don’t recognize “Osas” right of the bat and would thus be able to respond/comment/whatever. It might actually help if you re-post this and label it clearly “Once saved, always saved”.

I do apologize. I am certain it was late that night when I started the thread it is confusing.

Peace,
David
