Not sure if this is the right place for this question

But I just stumbled across this website- ipas.org/ - I know we all fight against planned parenthood but why don’t we ALSO fight against this organization. It states its main goal as providing abortions.

I understand PP because of it’s prevalence and lies and scams, but I was just shocked to find out about the existence of this organization! Maybe i’ve been living under a rock though!

Maybe there are organizations that fight this group- maybe someone could direct me?

I have never heard of them. This page really tells the story, doesn’t it?

What We Do

“When induced abortion is provided by qualified personnel in an adequate clinical setting, it is one of the safest of all medical procedures. Yet, lack of access to safe, legal abortion services results in a tremendous loss of women’s lives each year. Abortion-related maternal deaths are almost totally preventable when existing safe-abortion methods are made accessible to all women in their communities.”

Access to legal abortion results in a tremendous loss of future WOMENS’ lives each year! What about the 50% of babies that are female, what choice did THEY HAVE???

They seem to be focused on bringing abortion to DEVELOPING countries, the ones who need MORE babies, not fewer! That would be AFRICA…gee the eugenicist roots of legal abortion seem to run very deep…

I am getting a stomach ache just from reading this. I am going to ask my local pro life coalition if they know of this group.

😦

That’s why I get so annoyed with people always complaining only about PP. In my city there are several designated abortion clinics that JUST handle abortion, yet when I walk in to PP for a pap or BC or whatever I have to work my way through a crowd of people begging me to “just look at it on the ultrasound” and “let your baby live”. My PP clinic doesn’t even perform abortions, but the clinics that do only them get no attention.

And the designated abortion clinics are just small offices that survive on private donations. I guess its because of the lack of name recognition that no one cares.

I assure you that people DO care, BEL. Your area may not focus on those clinics, but trust me, the pro lifers do know that they exist. We have people that go to other, smaller clinics on a regular basis, but the sheer numbers of abortions done at PP demand a larger response. Sometimes, there aren’t enough of us to go around, that’s all.

I just think that protesting abortion outside of a clinic that doesn’t do them is a waste, especially when that protesting turns in to pleading with women.

Even if PP did stop doing abortions, the demand would just transfer to other clinics.

Back to the topic at hand…

I have emailed my director and asked her about this ipas organization.

There is an abortion clinic in my state that is not PP. It also has daily protestors.

One boulder at a time. I think if PP were to eventually be shut down we could focus on the rest. PP is the most recognizable and perhaps largest organization of it’s kind. I can understand why Catholics would focus on Goliath before worrying about the centurions.

Hi everyone. I believe this is important. The following are a list of links to sites regarding important private revelations, Marian apparitions, etc. The holy love.org is especially relevant considering what’s occurring with the healthcare… Please view these, pray about them, and if you believe as I do help propagate them in your families and parishes.

That is exactly right, nickybr. Planned Parenthood is the Goliath of abortion providers, worldwide, not just here in the US, and if we affect their bottom line, only good can come from it.

We are praying and working for the shut down of every abortion provider, including the store front Planned Parenthood stores where they squawk “no abortions here” and hand out contraception, abortion pills and condoms like candy.

Not when we come to our senses and make abortion illegal again.

What you say reminds me of something Gianna Jessen said (I hope you know of her)- “There was not a radical feminist, standing up and yelling about how my rights had been violated that day. In fact my life was being snuffed out in the name of womens rights.”

Also, my parish pro-life group does not focus solely on PP. In fact, Feb. 18, we are having a Rosary outside of Aaron’s Ambulatory Clinic on N. Shepherd, Juliane, if you want to come 🙂

The director of my local pro life coalition reports that she has never heard of them. I notice that one of their execs has prior experience with PP. This group has been around since 1973, but perhaps not with the same name. Speaking of which, I cannot find any explanation of their name. Edit: Just found it, they have the NERVE to call themselves, “International Pregnancy Advisory Services!” Oh dear LORD, and yet they push ABORTION as CARE!!!

I find this page (below) totally offensive. They repeatedly say “safe abortion CARE” all 3 of which terms are mutually exclusive. No abortion is safe, and abortion is not care.

Every woman has a right to safe reproductive health choices, including safe abortion care.
No woman should have to risk her life, her health, her fertility, her well-being or the well-being of her family because she lacks reproductive health care.
Women everywhere must have the opportunity to determine their futures, care for their families and manage their fertility.

Again, what about the future women who are being aborted?

:mad::nope:

I had never heard of it until I saw it in the bulletin and looked it up online. I’m not sure, all the bulletin says is “Helpers of God’s Precious Infants, Mass, Rosary-Aaron’s Ambulatory Clinic, 2505 N. Shepherd”

I am not sure where the Mass is.

We have a group meeting this coming Sunday so I’m sure they will give us the details then and I will let you know.

I am glad the group is doing this because it is easy to forget that there are other abortion clinics out there. If I am not mistaken, there are quite a few in the city 😦

I had never heard of that group before. Their quotes on their webpage are just sickening…
