Just a curiosity, (I get curious about a lot of things…) Does anyone have any other Christian sites, with forums, that they could recommend? By other Christian I’m meaning sites that are not Catholic, but not some weirdo cult.

This forum, along with a couple of others I visit, is a great resource for Catholic information. But in my journey into the faith I need to learn more about other Christians, what they believe, and why. What are the differences to Catholicism, etc. For me, the best way to learn is to go direct to the source, as it were, and learn for myself.

Any useful, quality sites would be appreciated. Thanks.

p.s. Added to that, if anyone knows of moderate Islamic interest sites, that would be great, too.

Well I used to be on christianforums.com a lot… the Catholic section is pretty good, but there are some other parts I’d stay away from. For example, I came across a thread in the men’s section discussing how going to Church is feminine and how we’ve “turned Jesus into a chick” (God forgive me for quoting that – just telling you what was going on).  :crying: :nope: :bigyikes: :ehh: :ouch: :dts:

Like I said, the Catholic part is great and I like some other areas too… but there are also parts to stay away from.

I’m also on Christian Forums myself occasionally, but I generally find the discussions here to be more interesting. Maybe that’s because I’m a newly minted Catholic, and that Catholic Answers shares part of the “blame” for my conversion. 😉

I can NOT recommend www.christianforums.com which seems now to be dominated by secularist/relativist moderators.

They seem more intent on simply becoming the biggest Christian debate site, rather than the best.

I should state for balance that I was banned from this site so am naturally not going to be in favour of it.

Another is www.onlinedebate.net which is run by a Protestant dude. I left it too, because he has in order to run it allowed the same sort of people to become moderators. I was not banned from this site.

www.4forums.com has a religious sub-section. This too is a site that is filled with the anti-religious. I got banned from this one but still visit it to search for materials which I used in previous debates that are relevant to ones on this forum. And I notice that its still full of anti-Christians.
