They have a thread that seems to be dedicated to bashing the Catholic Church, and of course no one to refute them, as it would seem unless you are one of “them” you aren’t allowed in thier yard.

I find it ironic how they call themselves the “Fighting” Fundamentalists, when as long as they don’t allow Catholics, they have no one to “fight” against.

Fighting FUNDAMENTALS
By no stretch of the imagination is everyone a fundamentalist on the forum…

Oh yes they would. I’m familiar with that forum, but I’ve never joined it. They even fight against other fundamentalists.

After visiting “The Fighting Fundamental Forums”, I’d like to make a couple brief observations:

First, I said earlier that I think that FFF refusing membership to CWBetts, on the basis of his Catholic faith, is ‘fine if the people who participate on the forum are aware of that policy (i.e. if the front page says “This forum is only for Protestants and people intent on becoming Protestant. Anyone else will be automatically denied membership.”)’.

However, having looked at both the Rules page and the FAQ pages, I fail to see anything like that. Problematic? I think so.

Second, I just happened to notice that – like CAF – FFF has one forum devoted to “other religions”. But what’s interesting here is not so much the similarity but rather the difference. On CAF, it’s
Non-Catholic Religions
Comparing and contrasting beliefs
whereas on FFF it’s
Non-Believers Forum
If you are a not a Christian and have questions concerning the Christian faith you may post it here. All rules of the forum still apply.
Kind of a subtle difference, but I found it interesting. A more significant difference, perhaps, is that the “Non-Catholic Religions” forum comprises 11.5% of CAF, whereas the “Non-Believers Forum” comprises only 1.6% of FFF.
