Prayers for the peaceful passing of my dearly loved brother-in-law, Jim, and his family. He is in end stages of cancer and just holding on. We pray for his release and joyful reception by our Lord. Thank you all.

Heavenly Father, Your son, Jim is nearing his last breath. Send your Holy Spirit to him to prepare him for his passing. May he find a close union with your Son at this time and cling on to his faith should he find himself a little afraid. Bless him with your mercy and grant him the grace of final perseverence. May he be with You soon in heaven where he can sing Your praises with his other deceased loved ones who are alive and happy in paradise. Bless his family with the graces they need to keep their lives holy and close to You and each other at this sorrowful time. And should Jim need any purification in purgatory, may my prayers and sufferings shorten his visit there. Amen.
