Although I’ve never used one, I’ve heard too many people I know in real life tell me some really weird stuff happened after using the board.
Not religious people, either.

This is superstition. There is no evidence that anything paranormal or spiritual is going on. We need to purify our faith of this kind of thinking. Ouija is no different from the Magic 8 ball when it comes to " answers" to questions. A complete waste of time and distraction.

Tell that to the Catholic Exorcists. I believe I’ll listen to them instead.

And they may be right but when one has a hammer everything looks like a nail

DON’T use them!!! It opens the door to diabolical activity. I had a roommate in college who used one and when I went on my first Ignatian retreat I mentioned it to the priest. We had to make a general confession on retreat and the priest would go through the 10 Commandments and the commandments of the Church to help us prepare for general confession.

Mother of Sorrows, pray for us!

I hope you don’t still have it, TB. If you do, I beg you :pray:to call your diocese, talk to an exorcist and ask his advice. If your diocese doesn’t have one find out where you can get one. I wouldn’t let that thing in the house let alone in the attic.

I don’t know what it is about those things, but when I was a kid I knew some white witches that had different practices to their art.

They didn’t have to touch the do-hicky-thingy that moves across the board. We could ask questions and the thingy moved on its own without a touch, so I don’t get how the subconscious moves it.

I don’t do ouija. Nor do I do crying Mary statues before car accidents, especially an accident where I spend an hour fighting for my life in an ambulance before being transported to the hospital.

The Black Eyed Peas may have that boom, boom, pow; but I don’t.

Weather it’s a ouiji board, tarot cards or anything suspicious I always lean to the side of safety. Black magic and evil spirits exist. A friend once got angry at me because I wouldn’t buy into his tarot cards
