Here Is Something I Just Dont Understand. Now If I Am, Wrong, Or Misunderstanding Things Please Correct Me. Ok Now The First Religion After Jesus Left Was Roman Catholic Because That Was The Church Right? Ok Now If That Is Right Then People Started Breaking Way From, The Church Because Of One Thing Or Another.

Now Luther Left The Church But Kept Some Of The Readings But Left Out What Didnt Fit Into In His Plan Correct.

Now That Is How The Protestant Religion Began Correct. Now If This Is Correct And Please No Disrespect To Anyone And Im Not Accusing Im Asking Wouldnt They Be Following Luther.

I Understand Yes They Are Reading The Same Gospel, And Readings But If You Are Following The Plan Of Christ You Cant Follow What Books You Want Or Dont Want You Must Follow Them All.

Now If I Choose To Follow Lets Say Luke, John, Etc. But Say Not Wisdom, Etc. Then I Would Be Reading The Word Of God By Following My Own Religion. Is That Right. Now Is This More Or Less What Happened Or Am I Way Off Base. Any Help Would Be Appreciated.

I believe that Fr. Mitch Paqua put it best when he said that all the protestant reformist & the new outburst of evangelicals are in essence truly saying that the Church was in total error until they personally came to bring the truth & to starighten things out. In fact all protestants believe that the Catholic church was in grave eroor until their founder, be it Martin Luther, Clavin, Wesley, Joseph Smith etc. came on the scene. This is to say that Jesus Christ Himself was a liar. Matt 16:18-20.

Forgive them Father for they know what they do & they just don’t care.

It is not necessarily what is in the bible that matters, but it is how you interpret what is in the bible that matters. Since there are so many different interpretations, hence thousands of Christians churches, they can’t all be accurately interpreting the bible. Someone has to have the authority to teach and interpret. Even though there were bad Catholics in the church, which was one of the causes of the reformation, that does not mean the Catholic Church is bad.

The Catholic Church has not changed it’s teachings on faith and morals over the last 2000 years. This is evidence that the Catholic Church has the fullness of truth.
