What did our lady of Akita (approved revelation) mean when she said, if sins increase there would be no more pardons for them?

Surely it can’t mean that its the end of the world, as we know when its the end you can’t say sorry -common sense

Sin effects mankind in the current time with more evil and disorder, which may have to be experienced fully (“no pardon”).

Catechism
1869 Thus sin makes men accomplices of one another and causes concupiscence, violence, and injustice to reign among them. Sins give rise to social situations and institutions that are contrary to the divine goodness. “Structures of sin” are the expression and effect of personal sins. They lead their victims to do evil in their turn. In an analogous sense, they constitute a "social sin."144
2304 Respect for and development of human life require peace. Peace is not merely the absence of war, and it is not limited to maintaining a balance of powers between adversaries. Peace cannot be attained on earth without safeguarding the goods of persons, free communication among men, respect for the dignity of persons and peoples, and the assiduous practice of fraternity. Peace is "the tranquillity of order."98 Peace is the work of justice and the effect of charity.99

Our Lady of Akita spoke of a coming chastisement that would be so terrible that the living would “envy the dead.” Perhaps that is what she was referring to.

She wasn't talking about the end of the world. She said great disasters would come
upon the nations of the world. This is like the great disasters that came upon the nations as the Old Testament relates, though this will be universal. This is what our Lady of Akita said in very specific prophesies. These events at Akita have been approved by the Catholic Church.

Perhaps this is why we don’t hear very much about Our Lady of Akita. People don’t care to hear about such bad news. I presume this disasters aren’t inevitable, if there is great repentance in the nations-but I don’t see this happening.

She’s talking about sins going unchastised for a time, but eventually God will need to intervene.

As a side note, here is how we should view chastisement:

Hebrews 12:
[4] For you have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin: [5] And you have forgotten the consolation, which speaketh to you, as unto children, saying: My son, neglect not the discipline of the Lord; neither be thou wearied whilst thou art rebuked by him.

[6] For whom the Lord loveth, he chastiseth; and he scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. [7] Persevere under discipline. God dealeth with you as with his sons; for what son is there, whom the father doth not correct? [8] But if you be without chastisement, whereof all are made partakers, then are you bastards, and not sons. [9] Moreover we have had fathers of our flesh, for instructors, and we reverenced them: shall we not much more obey the Father of spirits, and live? [10] And they indeed for a few days, according to their own pleasure, instructed us: but he, for our profit, that we might receive his sanctification.

[11] Now all chastisement for the present indeed seemeth not to bring with it joy, but sorrow: but afterwards it will yield, to them that are exercised by it, the most peaceable fruit of justice.

There could be “no more pardons” because sin causes our consciences to be clouded, and eventually, it could be so clouded, we don’t even care that we sin. No repentance = No pardon

It’s not that God doesn’t pardon, it’s that we don’t even bother to ask and have remorse for our sins.

Keep in mind this is a private revelation. The fact that it is “approved” is that it does not contain anything specific against the Christian Faith, however people can go off on tangents, which can go against the Christian Faith.

Read this private revelation as a possible message for you, personally; and only you. If it leads you to greater devotion to God, to study the Catechism and Scripture, to acts of spiritual and corporal works of mercy, then it for you it is good.

If it leads you to speculation, especially about world and Church events - i. e. someone else’s job - then it is leading away from your conversion, and your job.

Actually, people do like to hear about bad news. This is true not only in the secular media, but in large portions of the churches. The bigger the disaster predicted, the more we pay attention to it. What most people do not like to hear about, is conversion of their own hearts, the day by day walk with Christ, dying to self.

My opinion is that the Warning of Our Lady of Akita refers to a global nuclear war that is sure to occur if the USA does not initiate unilateral nuclear disarmament. This is the global disaster of “fire from the sky,” and it is predicted by Isaiah 66:15-16

To be frank, that’s pretty much what Scripture says: our Lord said that it would be a time of great distress such as never has been since the foundation of the world. Revelation says that “people will seek death, but shall not find it.” The prophets of old said, “men will become rarer than gold of Ophir.” And the plagues listed in Revelation kill more than half the population. Our Lord said that if those days were not shortened, no flesh would be saved alive, but for the sake of the elect, they have been shortened. Thus, there will be a faithful remnant who survives to the Second Coming, but they will be very few in number.

Isaiah 66:16 says, “The slain of the Lord will be many,” and what follows is a description of the Last Judgment. This is not a nuclear holocaust, but rather Armageddon. The Lord will slay His enemies, and then He shall execute the Last Judgment.

so what comes first the plague or the judgment, don’t get it

Isaiah 66:16 says, “The slain of the Lord will be many,” and what follows is a description of the Last Judgment. This is not a nuclear holocaust, but rather Armageddon. The Lord will slay His enemies, and then He shall execute the Last Judgment.
For see how YHWH comes in fire,
His chariots like the tempest,
to assuage His anger with burning,
His threats with flaming fire.

For by fire will YHWH execute judgment
and by His sword against all mankind.
The victims of YHWH will be many. —Isaiah 66:15-16

In my opinion this is a description of global nuclear war, and that war is our Creator’s means of executing His judgment on humanity. And it is a judgment that we well deserve since by building our arsenals of ICBMs we have grossly violated His two primary commandments: to love Him and to love our neighbors.
Chariots are vehicles of war, and “chariots like the tempest” refers to ICBMs being launched. The word “tempest” also occurs in Jeremiah:

See! The disaster spreads
from nation to nation.
A mighty tempest rises
from the far ends of the earth. --Jeremiah 25:32

This passage describes the beginning of the coming global nuclear war. The “mighty tempest” is the mass launching of ICBMs from opposite sides of the earth.
Jeremiah 25:33 notes the aftermath of WW III:

Those slaughtered by YHWH that day will be scattered across the world from end to end. No dirge will be played for them; no one will gather them or bury them; they will stay lying on the ground like dung.
—Jeremiah 25:33

With all due respect to the CCC, the fire of Luke 12:49 is not the benign fire of the conversion or faith, but is the same as the fire of Isaiah 66:15-16. It is the fire of global nuclear war.

I have come to bring a fire to the earth, and how I wish it were blazing already! —Luke 12:49

Jesus said these words as He agonized over His imminent torture which He know would be demanded by the Temple priests. The immediate advent of the fire of Isaiah would have spared Him from that terrible event.
