Our Lady of Fatima and America

Yesterday was the feast of Our Lady of Fatima. I think that the Fatima message is very relevant in America today. Our Lady of Fatima condemned the ideology of communism. In 1917, the first communist state in the world was set up in Russia. Our Lady warned that Russia would spread her errors throughout the world if the message of Fatima was not heeded. Russia was consecrated in 1984. Communism fell 7 years later. Russia returned to being a Christian conservative nation. Here in America in 2016, we have a socialist candidate who is quite popular. His name is Bernie Sanders. He is not exactly of communist, but communism is a branch of socialism. Does Bernie Sanders fit into the prophecy of Fatima?
 
He’s popular because he supports social issues, ending poverty for example, I don’t like him personally (mainly he’s too old for the job…) catholicism is considered conservative by many, but it is also extremely conscious of social issues… I would say Bernie’s socialism is no where near communism. Like the old song, "The times, they are a changin’ ".

Only God knows, but I do know America is in a heap a mess of trouble morally, economically and spiritually. If I was a Democrat, of which I ain’t no more, I wouldn’t vote for either of them. I am not fond of Trump but I think he is much better than either Hillery or Bernie. America is leaning farther and farther towards Atheism. That scares me. God Bless, Memaw.

I assume those are the reasons why some Catholics support him. No Catholic should vote for Bernie Sanders though. He goes against the message of Fatima. Sanders and his ideology are materialistic. Materialism goes against God. The error of socialism is in fact spreading from Russia throughout the world. The once capitalistic America is now threatened by socialism internally. Sanders’ political revolution is a lie. I will pray for this nation if Sanders wins the Democratic nomination.

I feel the mess right now. It will only get worse if Bernie wins the general election. Catholics should unite to stop him in the name of Our Lady of Fatima.

Agreed with you fully on Socialism.

But I believe your nation needs prayers regardless of who wins the election. :o
