In the center of Mexico, in the town of Guanajuato, (pronounced hwon-a-wato) there is a Basilica of Our Lady of Guanajuato. Does anyone have any information on this title of our Blessed Mother? What is the history? Is this just a local area honoring Mary or is there some story behind the title “Our Lady of Guanajuato” ?
