What are we to make of the prophecies of Our Lady of La Salette?
 
The Church has deemed them acceptable and worthy of belief.
 
You are also free to reject them.

But don’t go fretting over the gloom, doom, and rumors of boom aspects of these or any other prophecies.

This is likely to cause you needless distress, or even lead you into schism.

The original messages and writings are worthy of belief because the event was deemed so by the bishop of that diocese. However, later material was added about the antiChrist and all sorts of bizarre stuff that even today confuse those who study the apparitions. These false writings that pretended to be a part of the message is still, unfortunately, being propagated today.
