Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Tomorrow is First Friday, a day especially dedicated to reparation for sins wounding the Heart of Jesus. First Saturday of each month is likewise dedicated, as requested by Jesus, to reparation for sins wounding the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

How truly Jesus is called a “Man of Sorrow” and Our Blessed Mother is called, “Our Lady of Sorrows” for she suffered with her Son throughout His Life on earth and now intercedes with Him for all of us before our Father in Heaven!

Even if we are unable to fulfill all the requirements listed for these devotions, all of us I believe can make an “intention” to offer our day to Jesus and Mary and to offer all we do and say to honor them. By God’s Grace, our love can make some reparation for the sins of the world.

Mary requested at Fatima, of three little children on July 13, 1917:
Make sacrifices for sinners, and say often, especially while making a sacrifice: O Jesus, this is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for offences committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I believe we can also, do at least, what the tree children of Fatima did. How much do we love Jesus and Mary? Answering for myself, I would say, “Not enough!”

Dear Mercy,

Thanks so much for your reply; I thank the Lord with you for the grace to complete your Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary! I count it as one of the most beautiful gifts of Grace the Lord has blessed me with in my life. Hopefully you can share this gift with others, as I have tried to do here on this Forum, elsewhere, and as a member of the Legion of Mary.

The world needs Mary more than many inside and outside the Church realize! Please let us pray for one another that we many become more and more like her, Who is such a perfect reflection of God.

Dear RPRPsych,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, now perhaps more than any time in history, we need to beg God for Mercy and offer all we can in reparation for our sins and the sins of the world. Let us intercede for all our brothers and sisters in the human family, with Mary our Mother and Jesus our Brother who plead for us before Our Father in Heaven.

Mary, Mother given to us from Jesus’ Cross, pray for us.
Jesus, I trust in You!
