I have an image of Our Lady of the Americas in my home. If I remember correctly, there was mention of Her warning about a virus. But I can’t find that anywhere on google searches. Has anyone heard of this?

If you mean Our Lady of America who is said to have appeared in Indiana and Ohio, that’s an unapproved private revelation and the Terms of Use don’t allow us to discuss material from it.

Not an approved apparition.

Bishop declared it not of supernatural origin.

It was up for approval and everyone thought it would actually be approved, but the Committee of US bishops who all got together decided there was insufficient evidence of supernatural occurrence. I had a thread on it when this decision came down, I’ll look for it later.

Our Lady of America is still “approved for faith expression “ so it’s okay to pray the prayers, use your statue and any medals etc. Maybe one day the Church will change its mind.

Here’s my thread from a few months ago re the bishops’ decision.

I was not happy about it, but then again, getting approval for apparitions always seems to be a tortuous process.

I am sure EWTN left that article up because they and other conservatives would have preferred to see the apparition approved.

USCCB bishops' committee deems Our Lady of America apparitions "not objective private revelation" Catholic News
With all the COVID business going on, I missed this story from May till recently. A USCCB committee reviewed the Rome, Indiana/ Fostoria, Ohio “Our Lady of America” apparitions to the late Sister Mary Ephrem aka Sister Mildred Neuzil, and while they didn’t find anything wrong with the sister’s character or sincerity and noted positive effects (good fruit), they decided not to approve it because of St. Joseph being called “co-redeemer” along with Jesus and Mary. https://www.catholicnewsagency.co…

Or maybe EWTN just didn’t get the update. Thanks, again, for posting.

However, in 2020, Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades of Fort Wayne–South Bend concluded an official investigation into the alleged apparitions with a “non constat de supernaturalitate” judgment. He, together with a group of other bishops, determined that they could not approve public devotion or cult, but private devotion could continue without harm to the faith.
This is not the same as “constat de non supernaturalitate” but expresses doubt in its origin.

The six bishops wrote May 7 [, 2020] that “given this history of prayers and religious articles being given approval by competent ecclesiastical authority, the use of such prayers religious articles may continue as a matter of private devotion, but not as a public devotion of the Church.”
