Peace to all of you!
I saw a brief news article about the feast of Our Lady of Urkupina held this week in Bolivia. I am not familiar with this event and could not find much in in my brief internet search . Is Urkupina a universally accepted appearance of Our Lady? Anyone here from Bolivia who is familiar with the feast?

Thank you!

The Virgin of Urkupina means Virgin of the Mountain - It was in the mountains of Bolivia
in the 1800’s that Our Lady appeared to a young girl as she was watching the sheep…)
You will find 15 days of Prayer to her here;

rc.net/providence/stbartholomew/urkupina.html

Here is an account of the story itself, found here;
365 Days with Mary
mariancalendar.org/virgen-de-urkupina-quillacollo-cochabamba-bolivia/

This page has been poorly translated, however, it does give you the gist of the story

The date is not known but it was not in the 1800’s. It was thought to be around 1700. However, these apparitions were only down to tradition. They were not approved by the Vatican or even the local Bishop so you might have to take them with a pinch of salt.
