What liturgical books do Our Lady of Wisdom Italo-Greek Catholic Church in Las Vegas use? Do they use an English translation of the books used in the Italo-Greek eparchies of Italy? Thank you to anyone in the know.

In Christ,
Anthony

Not being a member of the parish, but as I recall, having served at liturgy there for Father Francis, as they are associated with the Ruthenian Cathic Church USA, I believe they use our teal pew books. Most of the chant they use is the Ruthenian chant, although for certain things they use their own Italo-Greek chant.

We do use Ruthenian Liturgical and Service Books. At one time there was supposed to have been an additional very brief liturgy in Italian Greek but that never happened. When Father Francis was made an Archimandrite and Our Lady of Wisdom was instituted there were 2,000 people present. When the Divine Liturgy was said in Greek and Italian only 20 people showed up. I think it is too big a project to get the Italo-Greek liturgy translated into English and approved by Rome. We have a few minor variations on the Ruthenian based on tradition.
