Dear friends,
Pope St. John Paul II affirmed that Mary is the Spouse of the Holy Spirit, with whom she conceived Jesus Christ, our Savior:
"The Holy Spirit had already come down upon her, and she became his faithful spouse at the Annunciation, welcoming the Word of the true God, offering “the full submission of intellect and will…and freely assenting to the truth revealed by him,” indeed abandoning herself totally to God through "the obedience of faith,"60 whereby she replied to the angel: “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.”

How wonderful that the Mother of each human person–of each one of us, uniquely–is spiritually married to God the Holy Spirit, the Comforter.
St. Maximilian Kolbe says that the Immaculate Heart of Mary is the concrete sign of the Holy Spirit. He says that in a certain sense, Our Lady is the “personification” of Jesus Christ’s Infinite Mercy.
For this reason, Kolbe affirms the teaching of the Popes that absolutely every grace and mercy is given by Jesus through Mary. He says the Holy Spirit always works through Mary. So if we want to be saints, or if we have fallen, we need only turn to our Mother and the Holy Spirit.
According to Dr. Carrie Gress–author of “The Marian Option:God’s Solution to a Civilization in Crisis”-- “Mary is the human expression of the Holy Spirit’s love”. She also says it only takes a small group of devoted people to change the world.
So how can we develop our personal relationship with our Mother and her Divine Spouse, so that we can help transform the world?
