Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:37

Our relationship with God most certainly should dominate our hearts, thoughts, and every action. The stronger our relationship with Him grows the more He becomes our priority. We begin to share the same interests and goals. What motivates God motivates us. Our lives begin to be filled with a peace and joy; a confidence we could not obtain except through this beautiful relationship. He is molding and shaping us in His image. Our goal in life becomes more than personal gratification and happiness; it becomes our destiny and purpose. It all begins with loving God with all that we have.

Prayer

Thank You for loving me. I love You with all my heart and all my soul. I desire a passionate, intimate relationship with You. You are the love of my life; without You it is empty. Continue to mold me more and more into Your image each day. Help me to share with others that have never experienced the beauty and depth of Your love.

beatiful prayer and i what you said is so true. In a world where god is mocked and suppressed, it doesnt make it easy. but that just reinforces that im doing the right thing. Lord strenthen make and through you love for us i ask the assistance of you blessed mother and your angelic workers forgiveness and help.

You’ve given a very beautiful explanation of these words which I read from St. John Vianney (Curé of Ars - patron saint of all parish priests):

The good Lord takes delight in doing the will of those who love him.

Thanks for the compliments but I have to admit that was forwarded to me by a prayer group friend. I thought it was too awesome not to share. Thanks for your responses! Cathy14

It still takes someone to share the prayer with us.

I think just about every prayer ultimately has been “forwarded” to us by God; for example:

God said the first “Hail Mary” [Luke 1: 28, 42] and

Jesus said the first “Our Father” [Matthew 6: 7-15].

Good point! Every prayer is forwarded on to us from God…by the Holy Spirit! Love and Prayers, Cathy14
