I’m somewhat exasperated. Richardols has been suspended several times now. I look back on this thread and I don’t get it–he hasn’t made any personal attacks, he hasn’t given out personal information, and he didn’t use any bad words! To my memory, he didn’t do anything wrong the first time he was suspended. Why is he suspended?
Maybe I missed something, but I couldn’t see anything wrong with his posts either.

I think the moderators want us to ask them by private message if we have a problem with a decision they have made and not discuss it on the open forum.

As for Richardols: I think his remarks on the Walmart thread about people working for Walmart were really cruel and uncalled for.

Waht I find most suprising is how many people actaully BELIEVE this story.

It’s a story that has only appeared in one “publication” closely attached to the American Military and blowing the American Military trumpet. O and it’s a blog, very confidance building they are, always truthful I’m told!!!

Never heard of PROPOGANDA (even when it’s this obvious)?
Do you really hate the United States military that much?

For those who don’t believe the OP, the only thing I can say is I know the people involved, and I know the story to be true.

In what capacity?

We have corresponded. I don’t suppose anything but personal witnessing would convince some people. And I don’t blame people for being skeptical. But I also have heard similar stories from others who have confronted protesters in front of military hospitals. … make of it what you will…

I make of it that there are some anti-war people who haven’t thought through the issues and aren’t sure of their ground. I am sure there are many on the pro-war side to which the same applies.

Just because some people don’t have a full grasp of the issues doesn’t mean all the anti-war people do though. I would have had sympathy with the woman, but I sure wouldn’t have changed my mind based just on a few words.
