Christopher, just praying and being holy won’t “cure” you. It’s an addiction or uncontrolled compulsive behavior being driven by your brain. You should check into one of the 12-step groups for sex addiction. Sexaholics Anonymous, Sex Addicts Anonymous, or Sex & Love Addicts Anonymous. They all have websites where you can find information and find out about where you can attend meetings. Also, there’s an excellent Catholic book called The Holy Rosary for Purity of Body, Mind, and Spirit. You need all the resources you can employ, because this problem is extremely powerful. Yes. To make the story short: I am 23 years old and have always struggled making friends, never having a girlfriend, etc. These things have really brought me to Jesus in the last year. I am trying to fall in love with Jesus and have him be what replaces these feelings.

Have you ever visited a nursing home? Why do ‘t you scedule a weekly visit to a nursing home? You could go with someone from your Church or by yourself.

You will have no trouble making friends there, I guarantee it.
