overeagerness?

I have been wondering. I find that I enjoy debating faith with others online. I always feel better after doing so. I try to be curtious and not to belittle anyone. I do my best to put in a fashion that is becoming of a southern gentleman (what little I was taught of proper eticate anyhow which is shamefully little but, I hope to improve that sometime but, that isn’t what has me asking). The reason I bring this up is, I also tend to be a tad competive and overaggresive. You know I really like doing this and I want to go fight, fight, fight and convert, convert, convert. I was in TaeKwonDo for the longest time which I think accounts for the go and meat the goal (Convert others). I don’t know if this overeagerness is a good thing or not. I am not sure if it is a pure motive. Is what I am doing a sin? I have been puzzeld over this and I haven’t figured it out. I would like to know. I don’t want to be sinning. Thank you for any guidance you could give and God bless.

Haha, lets all go and meat the goal. I just got images of tech fans throwing salami rather than tortillas on their football field.

Okay I’m pretty inexperienced and neive myself but I figure this: God gave us certain desires and for a reason. Hunger to feed yourself, fighting spirit to rouse yourself to fight evil, however these things can become gluttony and anger if we let them get out of control, but they were originally given to us by him to serve him.

Being eager, not necessarily aggressive, should be natural to us. Shoot, if every Catholic were so enthusiastic things would be great! Just pray to God that things will work out the way he wants them to, and that he will keep your pride in check, and that he will give you the strength to keep your pride in check. He gave the eagerness to share our gifts for a reason, just remember things are in God’s hands, not ours, so pray that the Holy Spirit may speak through you, and pray for humility.

Seek a spiritual director and discuss this issue over a long term basis. This is something that has both good and negative qualities and the direction you take toward it really needs some good spiritual direction.

Perhaps your new found fervor promotes a feeling of zeal which needs to be reined in a bit until it is an appropriate opportunity. It is very helpful to listen to what others have to say, be firmly grounded in faith and understand how to explain it to others before launching out into this kind of thing on a regular basis.
