In some online, game trading thingy, some guy offered me $7 of items for my $3.50. I passed him two of my items, and they were $1.75 each. He even asked me if they were $1.75 each and I confirmed it, yet he still sent me the $7 worth of items. Would it be sinful not to inform him that he was paying much more than he needed to? (From my POV)

In my opinion it would not be sinful unless your conscience told you so.
God Bless,
paduard.

It is not a sin to make a profit from a trade.

Advice which does not apply to scrupulous people and I believe the OP is scrupulous. OP, sounds like the dud knew he was overpaying. Maybe he just really wanted to trade with you. If someone wants to overpay it’s your lucky day.

ETA: *dude, not dud… Although given the circumstances 😃

Nothing has an intrinsic monetary value. Just because something has been priced at a certain number doesn’t mean it is actually worth that much or can only be sold for that much. There is no sin in two people of sound mind agreeing to trade items. In fact you can just give away something. In that case you are trading something for nothing in return. The other party agreeing to the trade means he accepted the terms. You have no obligation, and indeed it could be rude, to point out some perceived advantage you received due to the difference in prices which are themselves ultimately arbitrary.
