I am able to exercise and I do sometimes. But when there is exhausting sport like swimming or football they sometimes tell to watch out for myself or that I should do it so hard to exhaust myself. I think its a bit overprotective.
I wasnt offered beer or cigarettes too much but schoolmates asked me sometime whether Id go with them(maybe one time they asked). I can say no.
I was used to being called weak or similar because I was laughed off in middle school. It was the hardest time for me because I was really thinking that I had no value. We havent meet since middle school yet. Now I dont have any problems in high school because everone lives his life and they are in their group often. Everyone respects each other.

Its a big problem for. My mom is overprotective. I have diabetes.
Parents have different modes of parenting, I think the fact that you have sugar gives mom extra reason to worry.

My own parents raised us pretty much “free range” when I was a teen. But there were 4 of us, lived in the city during a different era. The mothering got spread out a lot more than if I was an only child

Try to understand mom, and empathize, try to see things from her point of view. Mom isn’t going to always be there.
