Thank you so very much for your ongoing prayers! It is truly a gift! You probably know from a separate post that I had to put my dog Benny to sleep a couple of months ago and at the same time I lost my job, too. I’m still looking for a job and still praying that God would bring the right man for me into my life. God bless and all of you remain in my prayers as well.

Praying hard for you Overwhelmed. When I feel down and discouraged, I purposely list the things in my life I am grateful for, even the smallest thing like a cup of coffee. I thank God I have food and a roof over my head. When I am anxious, I thank God for the moments he gives me when I am not. As difficult as it is to believe, God really does have a plan for us, he never ever forgets us and he never breaks a promise. Trust in him, that’s all he asks of us.

as we ask for forgiveness for not giving You thanks.
Please receive our heartfelt apology for the lack of gratitude.
Remind us at all times that You are always worthy of our thanks.
Thank You, Heavenly Father,
for all the graces and blessings
You have bestowed upon us:
our faith and religious heritage;
the Priests who bring us the Sacraments;
our life, food and shelter;
our health, the love we have for one another;

Thank You for those things You so generously give us

My God,
I believe most firmly that You watch over all who hope in You,
and that we can want for nothing when we rely upon You in all things.
Therefore I am resolved for the future…to cast all my cares upon You.
People may deprive me of worldly goods and status.
Sickness may take from me my strength and the means of serving You.
I may even jeopardize our relationship by sin, but my trust shall never leave me.
I will preserve it to the last moment of my life, and the powers of hell shall seek
