Overwhelmed with school work

Hi,

The past couple days I have been overwhelmed with a lot of difficult school work in addition to a literature term paper I have been working on. I feel extremely overloaded and get tired just thinking about doing this work. I am not good at writing papers and doing research, and I don’t know what I need help with or what to ask for help doing. Please pray for me and anyone who helps me get the work done. I am taking a computer programming class which is very mentally exhausting for me, and a literature class, which is producing a lot of anxiety in trying to figure out how to proceed in gathering material for my paper and organizing and supporting my main idea, which deals with religious freedom. Please pray for me and my professors and anyone who helps me, like my family, whom I am asking to help me get organized.

I can understand. School can be tough sometimes, and can be overwhelming. But, you will get a break eventually, and if you work hard, you will get good grades. 👍

Hello,

It can be hard to get things done; especially when you’re overwhelmed, lack momentum and have no idea where to begin.

To get things done; look up the pomodoro method and follow it. For subjects you’re worried about; make an appointment to speak to your lecturer; I know they’ll do all they can to help you. 😊

And please, if you need help from a teacher, a tutor, or even a counselor, PLEASE seek it out. When I was in college I went through it and didn’t seek help, and it nearly wrecked all four years.

Sometimes it’s not your fault, or your weaknesses, or failures. Sometimes it’s something you cannot control on your own. Keep that in mind.
 
You are not alone! My daughter from college just called me last night to tell me she is overwhelmed with work in her classes; reading, papers, research for the next 3 weeks before the semester Ends.

Seek out all help you can as you indicate you will that is available to you
