Oxford Study Bible

Anybody have comments, negative or positive, about The Oxford Study Bible: Revised English Bible with the Apocrypha. I have one and see that among its sponsors are The Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales, The Roman Catholic Church in Scotland and The Roman Catholic Church in Ireland.

I use it for an alternative translation once and awhile (it is less formal than the NABRE) . The REB is a very literary translation and reads very smoothly. But since it is a British translation, it will periodically use a word that you are not familiar with, but when you look it up in the dictionary it is accurate. The Oxford Study Bible has concise historical notes (typical of other Oxford Study Bibles), extensive maps and a lot of scholarly articles on the Bible (in the front).
Overall it is a good Bible and the REB translation was cosponsored by the Roman Catholic Churches in the U.K.
