P may die from heart attack

Please pray for P. She is an elderly woman who has been my neighbor since her husband died and she moved next door to her daughter. She was taken to the hospital Thursday night because she was fatigued and not feeling right, and it turned out she has an artery that’s 95% blocked. I don’t know exactly what happened but from what I can figure, they attempted to put in a stent but had to stop because she had a heart attack during the procedure. It seems unlikely that they will try to redo the procedure. So pray that the the Holy Spirit will fill the doctors and nurses with compassion and guide them to know the best route to take. Pray that P will make a full recovery if it is compatible with God’s will. Pray that if it is her time, that she will enter God’s Kingdom with as little pain as possible and be reunited with her husband. She is a very faithful Catholic who attends Daily Mass with my grandmother. Also pray for her daughter J, son in law B, adult granddaughters S and C, and my grandmother F, who is P’s Daily Mass buddy. Pray to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary as Our Lady of Guadalupe.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal P. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into P’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. John of God

Dear Convert, after a sinful life, through the power of God’s holy Word you learned to love your fellow human beings. Self-sacrificing, you founded the Society of Hospital Brothers. No wonder the Church made you the patron of patients and nurses, Heart patients. That is why we confidently have recourse to you. Please give assistance to P and teach us to be kind like you.

God, You filled St. John with the spirit of compassion. Grant that by practicing works of charity we may deserve to be numbered among the elect in Your Kingdom. Amen.

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
