I watched ABC national news - 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm with David Muir.
Oh, I’ll bet that was a fair, honest, and objective look at the question. Not that there is a question to begin with. But it sure probably increased viewership and made some money for the left wing wackaloons who are using this current situation to keep the ratings up.

Probably not. As of March 2018 84 percent of US catholics approved of Pope Francis according to Pew. This is just right wingers (you can see who voted).
If 84% approved of Pope Francis, then that would include us right wingers, who are Catholic too, unless you believe that 84% of Catholics are on the left, which I do not believe.
He should stay and handpick his next five successors, and they should clean house as they see fit. A lot of the trouble is not abuse.
It appears that a lot of the people he has chosen just to be his advisors are a huge part of the problem, I can’t imagine how he could pick his next five successors and they clean house.

If this happens, we might well see three living popes, two retired and one newly elected. Naturally, I’m deeply concerned with how this will impact my pope chart.

I want him to stay for a lot of reasons. One reason is because the so-called conservatives want him to leave, and I don’t want them to win this battle.
