I just found out somweone(s) started an “abortion clinic” on the social “game” Second Life. It’s still running, though the admins tried to make it less graphic (or at least bloody) Fullbarticle [here[
However, there is at least one pro-life group there too.]()](One-Hour Abortion Clinic Opens In Second Life Mall | The Alphaville Herald) Are they trying to be neutral? Is it okay to use SL?

I don’t do SL; my advice is to invest in building a Pregnancy Resource Center on there!

The company that owns second life is avowedly neutral, while they create the game they hold no responsibility for what is constructed by players within it.

Some “worlds” are loaded with porn and brothels, while others are based on promoting various religions. I do belive someone actually produced an exact replica of the Vatican City State there before, it was the backdrop for a Catholic evangelization group using Second life as a medium to preach to other players.

There are many worlds you might like or sit with your views, but there are just as many who wont. You just need to be diligent and decide for yourself where you are happy to visit 🙂

Each world has it’s own “police force” of moderators who decide what is ok within it, some worlds will ban all non-muslims, others will ban pro-choice players. It’s all down to who designed the world in question.
