My 91 year old grandmother had a hip replacement surgery and after about a week, she was having severe pneumonia in the lungs, congested heart failure, and low oxygen levels. She was about to die. Doctors were aggressively treating her for her heart but it was not working.

In the gift shop of the hospital, my mother and my aunt found Padre Pio prayer cards. They brought them back to the room and left them by my grandmother’s bed. I also prayed for Padre Pio’s intercession.

My grandmother had COPD before all of this happened and was required to do breathing treatments three times a day. She hasn’t done the breathing treatments in over a month since she was admitted into the hospital to this day. It turns out my grandmother made it through that ordeal and has recovered fully and even more ironically, it turns out that she is in much better health now than before she was admitted to the hospital. Her doctor is now saying that her lungs are clear and there is no more mucous. She has had COPD for several years and even with the treatment the heavy mucous was always there. With over a month with no treatment and an added complication to her lungs during her admittance, her lungs are now healthier than before somehow. They are as puzzled as we are.

Thank you Padre Pio for your intercession!

**Unbelievable!!

Padre Pio, Ora Pro Nobis, peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

Padre Pio never fails to amaze Me. He is also a Franciscan!! What a bonus!!**

Thanks to post the miracle story.
Needless to say, I will pray Saint Pio next time too.

He is so wonderful, i have been praying for him to help me with getting closer to God. I witness little things that reminds me of him, so i knew he is helping.

This is a great story and i am so happy that your grandmother is doing better. I love miracles.

Blessings!

One person on YouTube had the whole movie on. I have to contact him to see if he still has it.
If it’s the one I’m thinking of, he had edited it from 3 hours down to 2. 😦 If it’s the full movie, it would be great if you could post the link!

Petru Romanus,
I would like to first of all thank you for the thread you posted.
I am relatively new to this site and have never known that it existed except by God’s grace that as i searched the net.

I am a very passionate believr of St.Padre Pio and very recently in December 2012 when my mum and sister went to Rome for pilgrimage, i was asked what they would bring me. I responded to my sister that i needed Padre’s portrait picture. I requested that she goes to the church where Padre’s body was laid, take a picture and bring it to me as i would blow it up into a bigger size for my use. I was very supprised when they bought me a potrait of Padre which portraite i had save on my comuputer about 2 years ago as a screen saver.

The reason, i love Padre is because i have received alot of favors from him and i do not have any regrets. I have a badge with his picture in my car which i kiss every morning as i speak to him in respect to my day’s schedule. I must mention where i will be going to on a daily basis as i seek his protection and guide everyday.

Please for those who access this forum, Padre is one you will trus because before his death, he mentioned that his works began after his death. So be prayful to him, no regrets

Bless you all,
Lydia

Thanks for this powerful reminder. I went to a Padre Pio healing Mass last year and received a prayer card with a third class relic (piece of cloth) in it but I have never used it.

Dear Russ,
Kindly use those items…Praayer and fasting orks.
Bless you
Lydia

When is Padre Pio’s feast day? It is very strange but today I moved some papers on my sofa and there was a picture and relic of him behind the papers.

I did not put it there. My daughter, Lesa passed away on February 28 and her funeral was last Tueday, I do wonder if St. Padre Pio’s picture and relic appeared for her. It just seemed strange that this thread was posted at this time.

Yours in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary

Bernadette

It was very nice to read another wonderful healing intervention story regarding St. Padre Pio. I often remind myself of one of his simple quote’s: “Pray, hope and don’t worry.”.
