Hi everybody,
At church the other day I was so touched by reading a little booklet I found write there in church on St. Padre Pio’s writing. The feeling I got while reading his writing were beautiful and eerie in a good way they were almost tailor fitted to my situation.

I get home all excited to have time to read it and it’s lost. I checked Google and Ebay and no one has this little yellow book with his writings and some letters.

Wondering if anyone can recommend a book, not of his life, but of his writings please.

Or if by some miracle anyone knows the name of that little yellow book.

Thank you, have a blessed week❤️

Thank you so much, that yellow one is not the one i had BUT absolutely the one I will buy. Thank you so much!!! It’s odd the one I saw looked like it was printed “unprofessionally” for lack of a better word because the writing was at a slant and the paper quality was very thick which i like. .And Not for sale was all over the pages lol. Ofcourse that doesn’t matter but just to give a clue as to where it might have come from. It reminded me of the Pieta prayer book except smaller.
thank you guys, so very much!!!

Wow I love that website thank you!! Can’t wait to look through it.

You are probably better off buying an authorized book of Padre Pio’s writings. Anything you get from Amazon (directly, not the resellers), or the Padre Pio Foundation, or the National Center for Padre Pio, should be just fine.

The “Not for sale” makes me think someone may have printed the book without permission, and people with an agenda often attribute things to Padre Pio that he didn’t actually say. Perhaps Padre Pio wanted you to have a better book 🙂

If this is a book put there by the church than there may be more than one copy left in the pews. In my parish there are two types of books, the ones left by the parish (usually more than a copy, formally ‘authorized’ and left there to use for prayer/meditation and not to be brought home) or random material put there by the parishioners and often discarded by the priest (if it is from dubious sources like unapproved revelations, random copies of book pages etc).

Wow that’s a beautiful point thank you. I thought too that maybe he just wanted me to read what I needed for the moment because I remember a lot of what I read (rare). I prayed that he would be a “spiritual father” maybe a year ago afterI read that, once we do, he takes on our whole family. But I haven’t “heard from him” until now. (I sound a little strange even to myself) . I wonder why the seeming delay. I wish my mind would not think that way.
That he wanted me to have a better, authorized book, puts me at ease on this whole frantic feeling of having lost that book. Thank you for that. I’m looking forward to ordering one!❤️:pray:t2:
