What is your favorite Padre Pio book? Are any of his writings from a web source (thinking free reading here)?

I thought people asked about books on him in the past, but could not find the thread through the search options. I am not so interested in the history of his family and parents; just his life and observations and advice.

Many thanks.

I have a book at home that I bought fairly recently about Padre Pio. I have not read it yet, but it is called Padre Pio: the stigmatist and is by Fr. Charles Mortimer Carty, published by Tan Books.

God bless!

I have numerous books on Padre Pio. There are numerous websites. Do a google search and find. Some websites have titles of books for you to read.

This website will lead you to free downloadable music by Rafael Brom. One of Rafael Brom’s albums and songs is Dance of Padre Pio I love it. Stop and listen. Pope John Paul II sent a letter of thanks to Rafael for writing the song. Somewhere on the album page there is a link to this letter. Enjoy!

Thanks, but I did a google search. Because there are so many web stie, and because so few (of the many) that I checked had anything about his writing, I thought I would use this forum to ask people what their favorite resources are, since I have seen admiration for him expressed here before. I have noticed that there were many books too, but just becuase they are about an inspirational man, does not mean that they have the capability to inspire. I was looking for something that had a lot of his own words in it.

I loved Padre Pio: The True Story. It’s more objective than most books and the miracles are actually verified. The author is a Lutheran who has devotion to Padre Pio(closet Catholic).
