Does anyone have any pictures of Padre Pios hands unwrapped after death? I know his stigmata was supposed to go away so I was curious if there were pictures? I tried to google and didn’t have much luck.

Do you know of invisible stigmata?
There is a form of stigmata wherein you feel the pain but it is not visible.
He didn’t want it to be visible…
They also couldn’t take the man’s temperature without breaking a normal human thermometer.

A lot of people try to say things like he used chemicals to induce stigmata (I think lye?), but that just complicates things. For instance, how is it that his wounds had a nice, fragrant scent? How is it that he still had the stigmata when observed by a skeptic? Not to mention all the other miraculous stuff about him (in addition to calling such a holy man a fraud).
In fact, I think one of the leading “theories” of his day was that people that received stigmata really just focused on the wounds of Christ, something that is laughable today, at least so I would think.

I need to find out if he’s approved his name was Irving Houle and he’s from Michigan. He had the physical stigmata.

There are pictures of him in the glass coffin when he was ecxhumed for veneration when he was canonized. Google it.
