Do you think after the Fall in Eden Adam and Eve and there families became Pagan? Why were there so many Pagans by the time of Moses and Jesus?

Abel’s families may have become pagans. Remember Abel was banished from Adam and Eve after killing Cain. I am not sure about the rest of the family (Adam, Eve, and any unidentified children).

Actually, it’s the other way round – Cain killed Abel. 🙂
 
I think that the writers of scripture assumed the existence of other
people outside of the lineage of Adam and Eve. As early as Genesis 4,14 there is the suggestion of others who might kill Cain. And Cain’s wife is mentioned without her lineage being mentioned.
 
The line through which the Jews, and therefore Our Savior, came was that of Seth, the son born after Abel was killed, and who apparently took his place in God’s plan of salvation. It appears the others wandered from true devotion to God to follow whatever appealed to them.

We can see by the time of the Tower of Babel that fallen humanity had already devolved into paganism and paganistic mind sets with only Noah adhering to the truth and traditional morality.

But, it’s interesting to note that all societies had creation stories and stories about hero-saviors; moral values and rules of conduct as well as sacrificial worship. So, something of what their ancestors shared with the first family seems to have been carried on, if confused and given to decadence.

C. S. Lewis wrote about this but I can’t recall which book–it’s been some time since I last read his theological works.
 
This is the turning point:

Genesis 6
1 And after that men began to be multiplied upon the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 The sons of God seeing the daughters of men, that they were fair, took to themselves wives of all which they chose. 3 And God said: My spirit shall not remain in man for ever, because he is flesh, and his days shall be a hundred and twenty years. 4 Now giants were upon the earth in those days. For after the sons of God went in to the daughters of men, and they brought forth children, these are the mighty men of old, men of renown.

The sons of God (descendants of Seth, son of Adam) found the daughters of men (descendents of Cain, who was dispossessed of his inheritance from God) to be particularly attractive. So instead of remaining united with the “daughters of God”, they went over to the other side and reproduced children who had extraordinary skills (the men of renown who would one day build the Tower of Babel), but were also alienated from God.

Genesis 11:
3 And each one said to his neighbour: Come, let us make brick, and bake them with fire. And they had brick instead of stones, and slime instead of mortar. 4 And they said: Come, let us make a city and a tower, the top whereof may reach to heaven: and let us make our name famous before we be scattered abroad into all lands. 5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of Adam were building.

Note the phrase “children of Adam”. Why not call them “children of men”? Because they were genetically half Sethite. They were, to that extent, children of Adam like the Sethites, however, they were not inheritors of God’s covenant with Adam like the Sethites who did not have relations with the Cainites.

This self esteem (or lack thereof) led to paganism. Fashioning gods out of things created. Worship of their own talents and superior physical beauty. Jealousy. It was essentially a continuation in spirit of Cain’s rage at Abel. “If they can have a God, so can we - and it can be anything we want!”
