You made me laugh for aproximately 20 seconds. Thankyou.

The ressurection of the body is simply the re-ordering of atoms back to life. Principly, it would not matter if your body was smashed into pure energy, it could still be recreated so far as each body has a biological mathematical pattern, structure and signiture that represents each individual. For a God who is all knowing, this shouldn’t be a problem.

How would maintaining identity of the person from body to body fit in ? And how are we the same in body if our constituent atoms are not always ours ? This is all very hard to think about

I believe there is some kind of pain in the afterlife, not that you would experience it all the time.

Life goes on. It won’t radically change. I don’t think there will ever be an afterlife paradise. It will always be a struggle between light and dark. Apostle Paul talks of unfathomable principilaties and powers, goings on in the heavens beyond our understanding, but he says we should be content with the simplicity belief in Christ offers.

But even if there is paradise, there will be pain there IMO. If there were no possibility of pain in this life, would this life be as fun? No. You wouldn’t be able to play games where the penalty is a slap that not just children but adults in many cultures play. You wouldn’t be able to do pranks that involve a small amount of pain. You wouldn’t be able to enjoy the taste of bitter food. Some don’t like that taste. Technically it involves pain. But it is still enjoyable. Some like their lemonade so sweet that all the bitterness is gone; others like theirs super bitter.
