Painkillers suffering

Should a Catholic avoid using painkillers to treat a headache and offer the suffering up to God or not? Is it morally acceptable to use painkillers so the headache Goes away? Thanks
No. God doesn’t want us to suffer.
Really? “In pain shall you bring forth your children,” God told Eve, and all her descendants. I still don’t understand why, in the face of an explicit Divine directive, the Church allows anesthesia or other pain-blocking methods during childbirth. But maybe that’s just me.
There is no Divine directive to suffer great pain during childbirth, or even necessarily pain at all. Even without potent painkillers, my mother experienced little pain giving birth, which is uncommon but not extraordinary rare. People are different.

This is a perfect example of why there is a Church and not random people reading sacred text.

Also, the pain and sorrow of bringing forth children is way more than just childbirth pangs.
It’s the daily care of children, of hurting when they hurt, the fear for a sick child, the heartbreak of a wayward child, the bittersweet moments as they become independent and eventually leave
