Im painting a picture and would like to have the Cross on it, but the teacher says it would look best at an angle…would this be alright?
aye, it wont, thanks…I’m sure there are more than a few religious paintings that have depicted the Cross at an angle, so it’s fine to do so.
As long as it’s not an upside down crucifix or anything.
The upside down cross is not necessarily a sign of the devil or whatnot… more properly it is the sign of St. Peter, and can be used correctly to portray that.I’m sure there are more than a few religious paintings that have depicted the Cross at an angle, so it’s fine to do so.

Yes - the upside down CROSS is indeed a symbol of St Peter. Not to be confused with the upside down CRUCIFIX (with corpus). The upside down cross is not necessarily a sign of the devil or whatnot… more properly it is the sign of St. Peter, and can be used correctly to portray that.
