Are most Pakistani Catholics Roman Catholic or are they a different rite? :confused:
 
There may also be some Syro-Malabara and Syro-Malankara ones, too.

I know there are Syriani Orthodox in Pakistan.

The Syro-Malankara and Syro-Malabar among the Pakistanis would be very rare I think. There are too many cultural differences, not least the language.

While they might be there to minister to their own people, I’d think that would be even more likely given the mutual restrictions and difficulties both India and Pakistan place on each others citizens. Most Indians in Pakistan would probably also come form the north of India, which again is quite different from the south (pobably preaching to the choir in your case, 🙂 but still…)

In any case, all the dioceses and prefectures are Latin.
 
All of the Pakistani Catholics I know are Latin Rite, however there families may have ‘‘switched’’ when they got to England for lack of a Church serving their Rite.

That said all of the Indian Catholics I know are also Latin Rite. Actually I’ve never met an Eastern Catholic, despite living in such a mixed area.

Too many typos…I meant to write
