I know that’s a couple of weeks away but I wondered. My Mom used to tell me that Palm Sunday was a day you were supposed to visit. We also used to visit graves and leave palm. I was wondering - do you follow these traditions - and if so, do you leave blessed palm or just a purchased palm Cross?

Leaving blessed palms at the graves of loved ones is an Italian custom.

In our family, Palm Sunday traditions usually revolved around keeping the children from impaling people around us or poking each other in the eye with the palms. 😉

I didn’t think so. I know people who aren’t Italian who do so, and I think then they don’t go for Easter. But in Italian parishes I see it centered on more. Interesting.

LOL, IrishAm -
I remember when my Dad used make a Cross in minutes out of blessed ones from Church. A childhood memory I’ve missed.
